Sharp seeks managed print growth with new manager jobs
The three new managers will have responsibility for developing, taking to market and growing managed print and document management services
Sharp Europe has appointed three new business managers to its Document Solutions business in Europe.
Max Fox, managed print services, Rob Davis, managed content services and Rashid Maknin, business manager solutions, will have responsibility for developing, taking to market and growing Sharp’s managed print and document management services, which will complement its existing document solutions hardware.
Jason Cort, director for product planning and marketing, for Sharp’s Information Systems division, said: “We have created these new roles to fast track Sharp’s development into a managed print services and document management provider.
“We have ambitious plans in Europe to broaden our portfolio of integrated applications that create a service ecosystem around our award-winning MFP products to create greater customer value. Our new business managers bring a wealth of solutions and services experience to support our teams in every European market.”
Fox brings 24 years of experience in the managed print services environment within both Xerox and Konica Minolta. At Sharp, he will be focused on growing its SME customer base and targeting new enterprise markets across different vertical markets.
Davis has 20 years of experience in the document, content management and business process automation industry, including with Avanquest Software and his own business, which was later acquired by Document Genetics, where he became head of cloud services.
Maknin was previously senior product manager at Ricoh Europe where he developed a standardised portfolio of offerings and proprietary software for added revenue, now worth over 20 million Euros each year, said Sharp.
