Cloud Distribution first to sign up Spikes Security
The Spikes appliance stops ‘all web malware’ getting onto the corporate network
Cloud Distribution has signed Spikes Security, the isolation security appliance company’s first UK distributor.
“Spikes Security represents an exciting and massive revenue opportunity for partners and we’ll be collaborating closely with them to build a compelling proposition and provide the tools to identify sales opportunities,” said Adam Davison, product and marketing director at Cloud Distribution.
Spike Security’s Isla Web Malware Isolation Appliance prevents all web malware from entering the corporate network, thus providing organisations “complete protection” against malware attacks.
“The traditional method of stopping browser-borne malware is to deploy detection based technologies, but attacks are increasingly more complex and often undetectable,” said Franklyn Jones, CMO at Spikes Security.
“Our Isla solution has been proven through independent tests to prevent 100 percent of these attacks from infecting secure devices inside the corporate network. Cloud Distribution is the ideal partner for us to work with because they are passionate about disruptive technologies and understand how to bring innovative solutions to market.
“With its support and impressive range of services for partners, our growth in the UK security market looks assured.”
Cloud Distribution is Spike Security’s first distributor in the UK and will be responsible for developing the channel and signing partners to the security vendor’s Transform Partner Program. The VAD says it will be recruiting a limited number of partners “to ensure margins remain high”.
The Spikes Security Transform Partner Program includes Silver and Gold levels and provides partners with benefits including preferred partner discounts; personal engagement from Spikes sales, marketing and support teams; opportunity protection; and assistance in developing sales tools, web content and digital marketing programmes.
Cloud will also provide marketing support to partners with its Altitude Marketing Services to help partners quickly and easily go to market and create a sales pipeline.
Earlier this year, Cloud Distribution announced a joint agreement with Gridstore and Unidesk, Microsoft’s chosen partner for delivering virtualised Windows applications. The alliance, said Cloud, brings to UK channel partners a solution for the “critical challenges” facing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) projects.
