Enghouse Interactive Signs Distribution Deal with Exertis


Contact centre and customer interaction products find home in Exertis’ unified communications portfolio

Enghouse Interactive has added a fourth distributor to its UK line-up with signing of Unified Communications specialist, Exertis.

Under the terms of the agreement, Exertis will carry a range of Enghouse’s contact centre and customer interaction products, including its flagship Enghouse Interactive Communications Center (EICC) and Contact Center: Enterprise (CCE) solutions, together with its Quality Management Suite (QMS) and Real Time Speech Analytics (RTSA) offerings.

The vendor said Exertis, which joins Westcon, 5i and NEC, will further expand its reach in the UK contact centre and communications marketplace.

Scaling rapidly

Gary Bennett, channel sales director, Enghouse Interactive, points to the firm’s recent ‘Challenger’ status in the 2016 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Contact Centre Infrastructure, saying Enghouse was “making great strides” globally.

“In the UK, we see the quality of support Exertis can offer coupled with their ability to scale rapidly to support large volumes as key to sustaining and driving further growth,” he explained.


Exertis’ relationship with Microsoft was also a factor, he said, with Enghouse offering Skype for Business capability, as well as complementing Exertis’ broader unified communications portfolio, which includes NEC and ShoreTel.

“[Enghouse’s] footprint in the UK contact centre market has grown significantly over recent years as has the breadth and depth of their solutions portfolio, encompassing everything from contact centre software to quality management and self-service tools,” said John Bird, head of UC systems and support services at Exertis Enterprise. “Enghouse solutions are designed for growth. While they are typically sold into contact centres with between 10 and 250 agents, they have the potential to scale from one user to tens of thousands.

“Taken together, all of this expertise and functionality gives us and our partners an opportunity to add significant value to the solution and service offering we provide end customers.”
